Cozy Cabin at Salt Creek Ranch in the Gila Forest

Tranquil cabin at Salt Creek Ranch in the Gila National Forest close to Lake Roberts. This modern cabin includes a comfy King size bed, full kitchen, and a covered patio with views of horse pastures, beautiful mature trees that grow along Sapillo Creek (runs through the property), and stunning sunsets to the west over the mountain tops.

This cabin sits in the middle of 3.3 million acres of pristine Gila National Forest and Wilderness for endless miles of trails to hike, run, ride, and explore. The south side of the property (the "backyard" of the cabin) opens directly into the Gila National Forest with no fence in between.

Located just off the Trail of the Mountain Spirits... about 2.5 miles from Lake Roberts, 15 miles from Gila Hot Springs, and 18 miles from Gila Cliff dwellings. Silver City is the nearest town for groceries, gas, etc and is about 30 gorgeous curvy miles (an hour each way).

You will need to drive through a creek crossing that is usually shallow, but can be volatile with heavy rains so please drive a vehicle with a little clearance (a small SUV is generally just fine).

WiFi speed is approximately 10.50 Mbps Download / 1.35 Mbps Upload. The TV is DVD only with no service outside of a large selection of DVD movies.
